Mark has been responsible for growing Secured Mail from its inception in 2006 into the thriving business it is today. During this time, he has successfully negotiated two venture capital and private equity investments and he has also led the acquisition of DHL’s DSA business. A natural entrepreneur, Mark continues to drive change and innovation within the company.

As Finance Director, John is integral to the running of the business, working with all areas of the business to ensure we make the best decisions for the present as well as the future.
After studying Economics and French at University, John started his Finance career working as a Trainee Accountant at Strix Ltd in the Isle of Man. After qualifying in CIMA, John quickly progressed his career to Financial Controller at a division of BBA Aviation PLC where he was responsible for 7 businesses within the group. After a 6 month project at AO.com as FC, John joined Secured Mail in 2013, and was recently promoted to Finance Director.
A founding director of Secured Mail, James is central to the company’s continued growth. He is passionate about driving quality and efficient business processes. A leader in innovation, James aims to revolutionise the way logistics operates in the wider market.
James counts winning the Best Management Team at the Virgin Fast Track Growth Awards as one of his proudest moments. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his children, who he considers to be the best deliveries he has ever received. Prior to joining Secured Mail, he has held a variety of senior technical and business development roles at Marketing Matters, ILTS, Littlewoods Gaming and KKC, where he delivered new product launches and training for Intel, 3Com and Eastman Kodak.

Tom joined the team in 2008 and has played a key part in the significant growth and development of Secured Mail. He still recalls his first book delivery landing on his doorstep featuring the Secured Mail indicia with a great sense of achievement.
Tom spent 15 years with the Royal Mail Group in a variety of senior sales management roles, including Head of Customer Services for Royal Mail wholesale and part of the senior management team for Royal Mail’s wholesale marketplace.
