Mark Bigley, founder and Group Managing Director
Secured Mail

As founder and managing director of Secured Mail, Mark works closely with his management team and has overseen the rapid growth of the company since it was founded in 2006.

After graduation, he became the UK’s youngest town centre manager in Southport, following which he joined Wigan Borough Partnership. Whilst working full time as an intellectual property consultant, he pursued a political career and was Conservative candidate for Southport in the 2005 election.

 

 

 

James Wilkins, Operations Director
Secured Mail

As operations director, James is central to the continued development of Secured Mail’s innovative mail delivery processes. James has a wide ranging brief, responsible for all aspects of the company from managing the postal sortation and fleet maintenance, to health and safety.

James is one of the founding directors of the business, having held a variety of marketing roles including business development director at Marketing Matters, previous to this he had pivotal roles at 3Com, Intel and Eastman Kodak.

 

 

 

Tom Kilroy, Sales and Business Development Director
Secured Mail

As sales and business development director at Secured Mail, Tom has played a key part in the significant growth and development of the business, quickly establishing a sustainable pipeline and enhanced marketplace profile and positioning.

Before joining Secured Mail in 2008, Tom spent 17 years in the Royal Mail Group in a variety of senior sales management roles, including Head of Customer Services for Royal Mail Wholesale, which involved him liaising with all the DSA license holders, both CDA’s and operators. Tom has unique experience having been on both sides of the DSA environment and is uniquely placed to add value to the client experience at every level.

 

 

Michael Owen, Finance Director
Secured Mail

Michael is the latest addition to the Secured Mail team, having joined the company in early 2011. A certified accountant, Michael has held senior roles at Baker Tilly, Alliance & Leicester, Littlewoods Shop Direct Group and more recently, at Stewart Group.

Working closely with the senior management team Michael is responsible for ensuring that the business has the right financial structures in place to support the continued growth strategy.
